Naqdengi Academy Help
Purpose
Naqdengi Academy is a new, free learning feature designed to help you understand essential business finance concepts. It offers three distinct tracks: Business Owner, Bookkeeper, and Accountant-Advisor. Each track is designed to guide you through key topics with practical examples.
Steps
- Choose a Track: Open /academy/en or /academy/ar and select one of the three available tracks: Business Owner, Bookkeeper, or Accountant-Advisor.
- Complete Lessons: Each track has 6 lessons, totaling 18 lessons across the Academy. Each lesson includes a quiz to test your understanding. Correct quiz answers save lesson completion.
- Hands-on Practice: You can practice what you learn using a synthetic, isolated company. This practice environment uses no real customer data and is never billed. You can reset your practice environment. Resetting archives your old books and creates a new generation. You can have up to 5 starts or resets within a 24-hour period. Note that resetting cannot change posted journals or erase old audit history.
- Take the Final: To complete a track, you must finish all 6 lessons in that track. The final presents a random set of 10 questions. You must pass 8 out of 10 questions. Every submitted final attempt, whether you pass or fail, triggers a 24-hour cooldown period before you can attempt it again. An unfinished final will resume from the same snapshot. There is no automatic retry after a failed final.
- Certificates: After passing a track's final, choose Issue Certificate and enter your display name. Certificates are private by default. The display name on your certificate is kept from its first issuance. Certificate PDFs are available in English and Arabic. You can optionally publish your name, track, and issue date by checking a box. Withdrawing consent hides the public record. A revoked record is not public, but the owner can still download their own revoked PDF, marked as revoked. Important: This certificate is not professional accreditation. Naqdengi Academy content is not tax advice or professional advice.
Common errors
- Exceeding Practice Resets: You can only start or reset your practice company 5 times in 24 hours. Wait for the cooldown period to end.
- Failing the Final: If you fail a final, you must wait 24 hours before attempting it again. There is no automatic retry.
- Unfinished Lessons: Ensure all 6 lessons in your chosen track are completed before attempting the final.
Limits
- Naqdengi Academy is a free feature. No paid company is required to use it.
- The AED 9 and AED 49 billing for other Naqdengi services remains unchanged and separate from the free Academy.
- A learning certificate does not grant company roles or access to the platform Owner Console.
